Hydraulic Test Point Hose

A hydraulic test point hose is a length of tubing designed to withstand high pressure. It is attached to a hydraulic test point that is used to remotely monitor the status of a hydraulic system, in order to check whether there is a malfunction. This is done by using several pre-installed test point connectors throughout the system, which are then connected to a pressure gauge or a test point adapter to determine correct functionality.

What are hydraulic test points used for?

Hydraulic test points are not only used to monitor whether a hydraulic system is functioning correctly, they can also be used to sample fluids for contamination, and to vent or bleed air from the hydraulics.

Types of hydraulic test point hose

Hydraulic test point hoses can vary by a number of characteristics, including burst pressure, maximum operating pressure, thread standard and size, and also length. The specific test point hose you choose will be largely determined by the conditions the hose will be subjected to.
