Order Notification
What is order notification?
We’ll email you confirming that your RS orders have been processed and again, when they’ve been despatched. This is in addition to the standard web order confirmation email.
How do I receive order notifications?
You can now do this in two ways:
Option 1: Ticking the option available in our checkout when you next order
The next time you purchase within our new checkout, there is an option to receive notifications by ticking the box available. This is visible on the ‘Review’ page within the checkout before the order is placed.
Option 2: 2. Change your settings within your profile
Update your order notification preferences
It only takes a minute to update your order notification preferences. Simply:
Step 1:
Select to receive these emails each time you build an order at the Order Options page and select the ‘Yes’ or ‘No’
default button, depending on your preference. If opting to receive notifications, they’ll be sent to the default email address
shown.
Step 2:
Go to My Account and click on My Orders. Click on Order Preferences and select ‘Yes’ under Notifications.
You will now automatically receive these emails.
Select to receive notifications for a specific order
You’ll do this during the checkout process, on the Order Options page.
Go to the Notification box. You’ll see the registered user’s default email address. If you wish, you can change this to a colleague’s email address to receive order notifications for this order only. Future orders will default to the registered user’s email address.
