TE Connectivity HDSC Sealed MCP 1.5K Receptacle Housings

HDSCS MCP 1.5K sealed automotive receptacle housings designed to withstand high vibration and mechanical stress. These HDSCS receptacle connector housings feature integrated secondary locks which conform contact alignment and retention producing an audible click when in the fully locked position. A slide lock assists with the mating and unmating process and provides a secure mating connection. The housings feature polarization and keying to prevent mismating and have a low mating force. These HDSCS MCP 1.5K connector housings are designed to accept AMP MCP 1.5K contacts with an SWS (single-wire-sealing-system) which must be ordered separately

HDSCS connectors for use in commercial and off-road vehicles applications. These HDSCS automotive connectors have rugged thermoplastic housings and are designed to withstand tough and harsh environments and high levels of vibration. The sealing provides IP67 protection against dust and water. This robust construction ensures high performance, reliability and long-term use. These HDSCS automotive connectors can be used for wire to wire or wire to device applications. The HDSCS connector housings are available in 5 different sizes from 2 to 18 ways and accept AMP MCP 1.5K, AMP MCP 2.8 or AMP MCP 6.3/4.8K receptacle or tab contacts.
