The Microchip N240F series female adapter is the world's smallest, lightest and most capable Class 2.0 Bluetooth serial adapter. It enables wireless connections to any legacy serial port and supports bi-directional RS232 signalling (RN-240F). You can connect the Bluetooth adapter to your computers serial port (the RN-240M may require a null-modem cable, i.e. with DB9 pins 2 and 3 swapped
the RN-240F requires a straight cable). However, if your computer does not have a serial port, you can use a USB-to-serial cable such as RN-USB-SERIAL to connect the Bluetooth adapter to your computer. It has Baud rates from 1200Kbps to 464Kbps.
