Product Details

AFA-G is a more viscous / Gel like version of the successful AFA conformal coating. It has been designed to be used alongside the other AFA coatings. AFA-G is intended to be dispensed around the base of connectors to act as a permanent masking material. This masking layer will help prevent the capillary flow of material into the connectors, which can cause loss insulation of tabs and loss of connectivity. In addition, the improved resistance to flow of AFA-G can be used to more clearly define difficult keep-out areas during selective coating.
