Dow Corning Brown Firestop Putty, 300 ml

The Dow Corning brown, 300ml firestop putty aerosol is a moisture-curing, one-component polyurethane aerosol foam sealant. This product is composed of polyurethane and contains environmentally safe propellant. It yields approximately 60m x 1cm bead.

Adheres to most common building materials including wood, concrete, wallboard and plastic, except for smooth-surfaced polyethene, silicone, oil and grease or similar substrates.
Can be used at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C
The optimal processing temperature is between 18°C and 25°C
Full foam setting time is 12 hours. Once fully set, the foam can be trimmed, sawn, sanded, painted or plastered over
Thermally stable between -30°C and 80°C
It is durable and permanent except when exposed to UV-rays
The heat insulation values are excellent
Using this will guarantee superior dispensing control and maximum reusability

Filling holes, gaps, cracks and cavities within various building materials
Sealing voids and connection joints between different building materials
Reducing and controlling air-leakage in the building envelop and thereby sound transmission as well
As an aid to mechanically fixing and insulating door and window frames
Air sealing and stabilizing pipe entries through brick work and other walls and showers
