MX887D Hall Effect Switch

A Hall-effect sensor switch from IXYS suitable for low-power low-voltage applications. On-chip power management circuitry reduces the effective average current to just 5uA at 3V making the device ideal for portable devices. The MX887D is an omnipolar device and switches in the presence of either a north or south magnetic pole.

• 2.5V to 5.5V Operation
• Micro-power operation (5 uW typical at 3V)
• Omnipolar - switches with N or S pole
• N-channel open-drain output, 5mA max.
