The DeWALT Digital Infrared Thermometer features an emissivity of 0.95, covering the thermal radiation emission of most materials. It is rated to IP 20 for dust protection and includes thermal leak detection. The device shows a red screen for high temperatures and a blue screen for low temperatures when scanning an area from a reference temperature (green screen). It includes a wrist band for convenience and has an 8:1 spot ratio, allowing users to measure a 32cm circle from a 2.5m distance. With an accuracy of 2% or +/-2 degrees, it ensures extremely accurate measurements.

Temperature range of -38°C to 520°C providing a large range for effective task completion
Measures temperatures of inanimate objects and for non-medical/non-clinical use. Not suitable for measuring body temperature
