PICDEM™ Mechatronics Demonstration Kit

This board is an easy-to-use mechatronics development and demonstration platform. Mechatronics refers to implementing intelligent control in a mechanical system. The kit takes a hands-on approach to learning about mechatronics. Jumper wires are provided which allow the developer to experiment with connecting the PIC microcontroller to various components on the board. These components include sensors, LEDs, human input devices and motors.

Analogue temperature sensor (TC1047A)
Light sensor
32.768 kHz crystal for Real Time Clock

ICSP programming capability (using PICkit 2 or 3 programmer/debugger)
Connector for MPLAB ICD 2 or ICD 3 programmer/debugger
+9 to +12Vdc power supply required (Microchip part AC162039 recommended)

PICDEM™ Mechatronics CD (example projects with source code, user guide, GUI), sample kit including the PIC16F690 and PIC12F509, 10 wire jumpers, Microchip screwdriver.
