Eaton 3-Phase Soft Starter, 4kW Power Rating, 9A Current Rating - DS7 Series -134910 DS7-340SX009N0-N
Regulate the start of your electric motor using this soft starter from Eaton. It helps reduce mechanical stress that could result from sudden inrush current to the motor. Thanks to its power rating of 4kW and current capacity of 9A, you'll find the unit an energy-efficient choice for use with 3-phase motors. It's sealed to prevent your fingers or the back of your hand from touching any live parts, so you can safely handle it. For added reliability, it's resistant to shock and vibration.
• Ingress protection rating of IP20 indicates it's protected against objects larger than 12mm in size
• Light weight of 0.35kg for reduced strain on the motor
• Broad supply voltage range between 230 and 460V AC for versatility in wiring
How does this soft starter work?
It works by reducing the power supply and torque of the motor at startup to support gradual acceleration.
Can this soft starter withstand harsh environments?
Yes, it can. Thanks to its broad operating temperature range between -5°C and +40°C, you can safely use this soft starter in harsh environments.
