RS PRO 50 Ω Straight Cable Mounting, N Connector, Plug, Belden 9913, LMR 400
This RS PRO N-type connector acts as an interface between two 3/8-inch helical cables. For more reliable transmission, the connector is designed to stop passive intermodulation distortion (PIM), where signals become mixed up and impede the current.
It's easy to connect your cables by simply soldering them in place. This provides an airtight connection and minimises electromagnetic interference for clearer signal transmission. The bronze body plating protects the join against moisture and corrosion for a long-lasting and reliable connection. It conforms to Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards, meaning it contains only trace amounts of any harmful materials.
The connector has an operating frequency of 11 gigahertz (GHz), making it ideal for radio transmissions. It's often used for applications such as wireless local area networking (WLAN), cellular communication and global positioning systems (GPS).
