Otii Arc Pro is a multi-tool, power analyzer, power supply and log sync, all in one device. It is designed for everyday use on any developer's desktop. Otii Arc Pro is compact, portable and quiet yet comprehensive in the technical features needed for energy optimisation of battery-driven devices. One of the most prominent features of Otii Arc Pro is its ability to display current and voltage measurements in real-time, enabling analysis of an energy profile synced to device UART logs. Otii Arc Pro can be upgraded with Otii Toolboxes, software licenses that elevate the instrument into specialised tools such as battery profiler and simulator, or automation tools. It can be used in product development, test and verification, quality assurance and maintenance (for example as part of continuous integration set-up), and in technical sales.;Otii Arc Pro measures 10.9 cm x 14.4 cm x 4.4 cm (W x L x H) and weighs 450 grams. It is designed for the office, lab, usage at home, and field measurements. The innovative mechanical design allows for efficient heat dissipation, so no fan is needed resulting in low noise.;A USB-A to uB cable is included in the package.
Measurement sample rate of up to 4k samples per second
Quick to use – download the Otii app, connect Otii Arc Pro via USB to your computer, start the app and you can start your measurement project
Real-time analysis scroll, zoom, and select parts of the current consumption;Configurable UI
Unlimited undo/redo
Fully responsive UI during heavy data measurement load (multiple streams, long recordings)
Full HDPI support
Also recommended (for simple use):
IC Clips – these will fit into the Arc black and red outlets, which then connect to your device under test. You could use any standard banana plug-style connectors though.
If available, use a Yellow USB port or one with a lightning symbol to increase the power supply limit from 500mA to 1500mA (sometimes, these ports can go up to 3Amps).
If you are powering devices beyond USB power constraints and would like to interface with the 14 port header, then read on.
27W Switch Mode Power Supply – set this variable supply to 7.5 Volts and your Otii Arc Pro will be able to power the device under test well beyond the USB limitation.
SMD Clips and Through Hole Clips (Red / Black) – the 14 pin connector on the Otii Arc Pro has a standard 2.54mm pitch, so you can use any female headers and crimps to make your leads to suit your project along with a stranded wire for better flexibility.
USB Type A Female Breakout – this is a useful combination for USB device testing. The female connector can then be used with any Type-A cable, which adapts to a Micro B or other popular USB variants. To enable Otii Arc Pro to power 5V devices, in the projects settings menu, disable Current Auto range. This will unlock the main voltage from 4.55V to instead be 5V back on the Supply tab for your project setup.
Otii Arc Pro is a small, portable power supply, a current and voltage measurement unit and a data-acquisition module. It can be powered by USB or by using an external DC adapter.
Otii Arc Pro is the ultimate developer tool for energy optimization, made for hardware, firmware and software developers.
