Loctite Grey High Strength, Retaining Compound Gel Tube 50 ml, -55 → +150 °C Loctite 660

The Loctite grey high strength, 50ml retaining compound gel is designed for the bonding of cylindrical fitting parts, particularly where bond gaps can approach 0.50mm. This product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration. The liquid is composed of urethane methacrylate and provides robust curing performance. It exhibits excellent gap cure characteristics and also suitable for retaining shims.

Cure time is Up to 72 hours
Fills voids between parts to prevent fretting, wear, corrosion and backlash
For use on worn metal parts like shafts, housings, keyways, splines and bushings
High viscosity
Non-metallic and non-running anaerobic paste, which only cures between active metal surfaces
Operating temperature ranges between -55°C and 150°C
Product hardens into a tough plastic that is resistant to solvents and lubricants
