Vishay Sensor Board

The Vishay Sensor board is a new age innovation designed for evaluation of the VEML6040 RGBW colour sensor with I2C interface. The board has an SMD edge connector and LED for indication. Vishay VEML6040 RGBW Colour Sensor incorporates photo-pin-diodes (RGBW) and a signal processing IC. The VEML6040 senses red, green, blue, and white light. The VEML6040 is ideal for consumer devices such as smartphones, digital cameras, and televisions, where it allows the brightness and colour temperature of backlighting to be adjusted based on ambient light, making LCD and LED panels more comfortable for end-users' eyes
