Weller WEP 70, 70W, Electric Soldering Iron

From Weller is this 70 W electric soldering iron from the WP series. A high-performance and lightweight device, the WEP70 is a pencil-style soldering iron with a co-moulded ergonomic grip. It requires an input voltage of 230 V/120 V, and its temperature range spans 100°C to 450°C.

The WEP70 is an easy-to-handle high-performance iron with a fast recovery time and an ESD-safe, heat-resistant silicon cable. The ergonomic handle is designed to reduce discomfort and hand fatigue over periods of long use, therefore ensuring high precision. This iron uses the ET tip series, with simple tip changes possible using the new WEP70 tip retainer that eliminates the need for additional tools and greatly reduces downtime.

This soldering iron is fitted with a heat-resistant silicone cable, making it the ideal choice for use in home DIY projects and educational purposes.
