The thicknesses available (0.5, 1, 2 and 3 mm) mean that GAP Pads can be used when the texture of the surface varies
The Ultra Soft range has the same characteristics but is softer and more malleable
The GAP Pad XX00S series is designed for low pressure and stress applications
