Jumo Capillary Thermostat, 80 °C Max Snap Action Switch, Automatic Reset, 1P, 16 A, Surface Mount

The Jumo 1 pole mechanical surface mounted thermostat is very robust and can also be used in rough conditions. The measuring system used operates on the fluid expansion principle and can be used without any problems up to a maximum permissible probe temperature of 135°C. The smooth round sensor made of copper has a diameter of 6 mm with a probe length of approx. 87 mm. The capillary of the thermostat is also made of copper and is rolled up inside the case on delivery. Taking into account a bending radius of 5 mm, the capillary can be led out of the case and laid flexible as needed. The maximum permissible ambient temperature at the switch head (protection class IP54) is 80°C. It is very flexible and can be used in building automation as well as in heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology. Further areas of application are the plastics industry, apparatus and mechanical engineering as well as furnace construction and temperature monitoring in laboratory and climatic chambers.
