As a leading distributor of electronic components, RS understands the importance of maintaining effective ESD controls. It is registered to the ESD control standard ANSI/ESD S20.20 – an achievement recognised by the Electrostatic Discharge Association. In addition, RS also complies with the parallel European Standard EN61340-5-1.
ISO 9001:2015 - the leading management standard for companies that trade on a business-to-business basis
ISO 14001:2015 – verifies that companies operate an effective environmental management system aimed at supporting environmental protection and the prevention of pollution
OHSAS 18001:2007 – specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety management system. Complying with this standard has enabled RS to control risks and improve OHS performance
ESD S20.20:2014 – covers the requirements for designing, establishing and maintaining an effective electrostatic discharge control programme

ISO 17025:2017 – an international standard establishing the requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
CEMARS - recognised by the Environment Agency as a carbon trust standard equivalent. It is the world's first internationally accredited greenhouse gas certification scheme (ISO 14065), covering six recognised greenhouse gas emissions: heat, steam, business travel, freight, water and waste to landfill
