Standard-sized radio frequency (RF) connectors are used together with coax cables whenever data needs to be transmitted. It's designed to crimp easily onto RG58 cables using a simple crimping tool.

The connector is made from high-quality, corrosion-resistant brass contact material and has robust silver body and contact plating. Silver is widely used in electronics due to its high conductivity and low contact resistance and is also especially resilient to erosion and fretting.
