This female SMB connector from the RS PRO range is a sub-miniature radio frequency (RF) connector used to join coaxial cables together. These can then be used to convey data and are commonly found in most Wi-Fi networks and microwave systems. This coaxial connector is recommended for use with RG174A/U cables.

The connector has a snap-on coupling mechanism that lets you connect and disconnect quickly and easily. Once the connector has been crimped, the gold body and contact plating protect against vibration, helping to cancel out electromagnetic interference or 'noise'. These high-quality materials also prevent wear from repeated insertions.

With an operating frequency of 4 GHz and a temperature range of -55°C to +155°C, this connector is well suited for coaxial transmissions as it offers high transfer capability and can withstand vast temperature changes.
