Mini MSD Plug with HVIL
From Amphenol, this mini Manual Service Disconnect (Mini MSD) is for use in charging Plug In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) and features a High Voltage Interlock Loop (HVIL). The plug features a two-stage lever to open the HVIL circuit prior to separation of HV contacts. The MSD presents a disconnect for internal high voltage battery packs without the need for specialist tools, while protecting the battery from short circuit.
With a high degree of ingress protection, this Mini MSD offers a safe and reliable solution for PHEV servicing. The mini MSD presents a more compact and cost effective alternative to the standard MSD.
