The Infineon technologies EtherCAT Shield is an evaluation kit for the XMC4300 MCU. The XMC4300 family of microcontroller integrates the EtherCAT node on an ARMCortex-M4 based processor with on-chip flash and analogue/mixed-signal capabilities. The XMC4300 kit has Arduino compatible connections allowing you to use with either 3.3V or 5V Arduino shields. The kit is ideal for control nodes and remote monitoring applications. It is used in the internet of things (IoT) networks and applications that include factory automation areas.
