SH Family Microcontrollers, Renesas

The Renesas SuperH device family of Microcontrollers presents an embedded RISC 32-bit architecture. The operating systems allow better efficiency in their development. They can be used in a wide range of applications including Inverters, graphical user Interfaces and high definition video surveillance. The SuperH family supports device families offering upward scalability and re-useable software. Renesas Super H controller Flash type is suitable for a fast real-time response for instance in high-speed applications and the SuperH controller ROMless series is designed for more general purpose real time connectivity.

· Flash device: 16kB to 1MB of integrated MONOS Flash
· ROMless device: does not have an MMU making them suitable for running RTOS and Linux
