Manage the service life of your bearings by monitoring their electrical discharge levels using this SKF magnetic-field detector. It lets you know which bearing has been weakened by heavy voltage so you can replace it quickly. This is a non-contact device, meaning you can use it from a maximum measuring distance of 300mm with accurate results. The LED (light-emitting diode) screen displays the data and is easy to read in low light. The unit is powered by readily available standard AAA batteries.

How do I use this magnetic-field detector?


Move close to the equipment that contains the bearing so you are within 300mm of it, then point the round antenna towards it. Click the power button to turn the device on and set the timer between indefinite, 10 or 30 seconds. The detector displays the metrics on the LED screen once the selected time has elapsed.
