Introducing the range of Nitrile rubber O-Ring cords from RS PRO has a hardness of 70 shore and is widely used for applications involving resistance to petroleum oils minerals and vegetable oils. The material is suitable for contact with aromatic hydrocarbons and most dilute alkalis and acids. The NBR rubber has a good rebound, is tear resistant and has a good resistant to non-polar solvent, making it suitable for use across a wide range of applications and environments.

Applications
Nitrile rubber is used in many applications but particularly when oil resistance is required. O-ring cords are compressible O-ring gaskets with flexible properties that allow them to be used in various applications and environments. An O-ring cord is a rubber cord with a circular profile that can be cut to the required length to form the required seal. The flexible and versatile material of the O-Ring means it can be used as a sealant for virtually anything, from power transmission to a beer tap, and can be utilised in both fluid or gaseous applications like pneumatic sealing where compressed air and gas are used.
