dsPIC MPLAB® Digital Power Starter Kit
The MPLAB® Digital Power Starter Kit from Microchip introduces and demonstrates the capabilities of the dsPIC33F GS family of Switch-Mode Power Supply (SMPS) and Digital Power Conversion 16-bit Digital Signal Controllers.
The dsPIC® Digital Signal Controller highlighted provides the necessary memory and peripherals for A/D conversion, PWM generation, analogue comparison and general purpose I/O, consolidating these functions into one device. The MPLAB IDE software provides closed-loop Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control to maintain the desired output voltage level.
