On actuation, the switching element and actuator are either brought together or separated. Using increased extraction force on the actuator, BERNSTEIN safety switches prevent the safety door from being opened unintentionally.

Designed to compensate for a slight vertical/horizontal offset. Minimum actuating radius 400 mm.

The actuator can be aligned with the aperture of the SLC head opening by pressing it in and turning it 90°.
