Schmersal Actuator for AZ 17 Safety Switch, Flexible - AZM 170-B6
This actuator from Schmersal is compatible with an AZ 17 electromechanical safety interlock switch. It's ideal for use on movable machine guards which, when open, expose the operator or maintenance personnel to potentially dangerous parts. The actuator features a geometrically unique design for improved levels of safety. It's flexible and can be easily adjusted into any desired position by using its set screw. An actuator such as this offers reliable and stable performance in demanding applications and is useful for controlling the opening and closing of protective gratings, access doors and hinged covers.

Can you adjust the actuating radius of this switch?
By using a hexagonal wrench key, you can easily adjust the actuating radius of this component. Check to ensure that the axis of the hinge is 11mm above the top edge of the safety switch and in the same plane.
