Altistart U01

The Altistart U01 is a soft start/soft stop unit for asynchronous motors. It is designed primarily for combinations with TeSys model U controller-starters.
When combined with a TeSys model U, the Altistart U01 is a power option which provides the “Soft start/soft stop” function. The result is a unique, innovative motor starter.
Using the Altistart U01 starter enhances the starting performance of asynchronous motors by allowing the motor to start gradually, smoothly and in a controlled manner.

Control two phases of the motor power supply to limit the starting current and fordeceleration
Internal Bypass relay
Motor power ratings range from 0.75 kW to 15 kW
Motor supply voltages range from 200 to 480 V, 50//60 Hz

An external 24V power supply is required for controlling the starter.

Schneider Electric TeSys U

The TeSys U is a modular system for motor control; it enables the user to create a customised solution for their control requirements, from a series of standard modules. The plug-in modules allow the assembly and wiring before the selection of motor protection parameters and control voltages, they can be created or changed in seconds by changing the plug-in modules. A host of DOL starting applications can be catered for.

Tesys model U is easy to select:

First choose a Power Base- 12A or 32A, direct on line or reversing. The power base includes 2 auxiliary contacts.
Then choose the plug-in protection module by motor full load current and control voltage required.
Additional plug in functions can be selected and added at any time.
The plug-in bases can use any LU9 type blocks see stock no. 493-8779 for base option
