Product Details
Eaton Bussmann Series Red Spot™ Range, Type 'T' HBC Fuses
The Red Spot range of offset slotted fuses (or bolted tag fuses) from Eaton Bussmann is specifically designed for the protection of general industrial applications such as power distribution, cable protection and motor protection. Available in BS88 British Standard fuse sizes from A1 to A4, offset slotted and bolted fuses are suitable for general purpose rating (gG) and dual motor rating (gM) motor protection types.
Features and Benefits
• 2 to 200 A rated current
• Breaking capacity 80 kA up to 690 V ac
• Type A1 rated up to 550 V ac/ 250 V dc
• Type A2 rated up to 660 V ac / 460 V dc
• General purpose (gG) and dual motor rated (gM) types
• Low power dissipation
• ASTA 20 certified
• Breaking capacity 80 kA up to 690 V ac
• Type A1 rated up to 550 V ac/ 250 V dc
• Type A2 rated up to 660 V ac / 460 V dc
• General purpose (gG) and dual motor rated (gM) types
• Low power dissipation
• ASTA 20 certified
As the fuse allows for the starting surge of a motor its full load current must not exceed the lesser of the dual current rating. e.g. 20 M25 must not have a continuous load of greater than 20A.
Eaton British Standard Fuse, A1 Size, 6A - Eaton Series - NIT6
Stop electrical damage and prevent shock and fire hazards with this British Standard fuse from Eaton. If the current in your circuit exceeds 6A (amperes), the component heats up enough for the A1-style offset tags to melt away. When the tags are gone the fuse is physically detached from the circuit, halting the flow of electricity to keep you and your equipment safe from harm. A fuse like this is commonly used in household appliances and commercial lighting applications.
Features & Benefits
• gG (general purpose) and gM (general motor) protection for adaptable use
• Low power dissipation ensures your current doesnt lose significant power when passing through this fuse
• High rupture capacity (HRC) maintains the connection until overload occurs to protect your circuit from false breaks
• Low power dissipation ensures your current doesnt lose significant power when passing through this fuse
• High rupture capacity (HRC) maintains the connection until overload occurs to protect your circuit from false breaks
What's the voltage rating of this British standard fuse?
This fuse has a voltage rating of 550V (volts) for AC (alternating current). That means 550V is the highest AC voltage the component can withstand continuously before it melts and breaks the circuit. For DC (direct current), it has a voltage rating of 250V.
