Multi Contact Potential Equalisation Socket


The Multi-Contact potential equalisation socket is a type of self-assembly connector for the creation of potential equalisation leads. This socket connector is made from a hand-drawn copper alloy which has been gold plated and has 4mm2 cable cross-section. This potential equalisation connector, once assembled as equipotential lead is designed to equalise potentials between different metal parts that can be touched simultaneously or to reduce differences of potential that can occur during use between the bodies of medical electrical devices and conductive parts of other objects.
