The NewLink USB 3.0 AOC (active optical cable) extension cable use fibre optic cable to carry the USB 3.0 signal. This means that the signal can be carried much further than a traditional copper cable and reduces the risk of interference. It also have copper wires inside which carries the power so no external power adapter is required. It is type A male to type A female cable with 30 meter length.
