    Product Details

Schneider Electric Chassis Mounting Transformer, 47 to 23Hz Operating Frequency, 400VA Power Rating - ABL6TS40U

Safely isolate devices from the source of AC power with this chassis-mounting transformer from Schneider Electric. It takes an input voltage of between 230 and 400V AC and outputs 230V AC, protecting users from electric shocks by preventing current from flowing through their body and back to the neutral line. As a single-phase, single-secondary-winding transformer, it has no moving parts, so a lack of mechanical friction makes it highly efficient.

    Features & Benefits

    • Multi-hole frame fixing for quick and easy installation
    • Fully varnish-impregnated bobbins resist vibration and corrosion to offer a long service life
    • Screw terminals help you quickly make secure connections
    • Overload, overvoltage and short-circuit protection safeguards against damage to equipment

    Applications

    • Industrial pumps
    • Heating elements
    • Relays

    What's a single-phase transformer?

A single-phase transformer like this one operates on single-phase power. It has a primary winding on a magnetic iron core and a secondary winding on a copper core. When an AC current is applied to the primary winding, it creates a magnetic field that links with the secondary winding through mutual induction. This generates a current in the secondary winding.

Laminated Frame 230Vac Primary 75VA to 200VA (Multi Tapped)

Chassis mounting frame construction low voltage mains transformers with a single 230Vac 50/60Hz primary winding.
