What does S/FTP mean?

A shielded with folded twisted pair (S/FTP) cable, like this one, has its conductors twisted against each other in pairs and wrapped in foil tape. The cable is also screened with a metal braid. This provides reliable protection from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk.
