Harting Ethernet Cable, 100m Cable Length, Black Jacket - 09456000501

This Ethernet cable is a shielded, eight‑wire Cat6A data lead designed for outdoor and industrial installations, providing high‑speed transmission for Ethernet and IP‑based services. It is constructed for flexible use where durable, sunlight‑resistant cabling is required and is suitable for terminations with RJ45 data plugs in both sealed and open housings.

Features & Benefits

• Cat6A performance up to 500MHz for 10GBase‑T transmission
• S/FTP construction offers high electromagnetic immunity
• Stranded AWG26/7 conductors enable flexible patch‑cord use
• PVC outer sheath resists UV and is flame‑retardant
• Overall braid coverage approximately70% for robust screening

Applications

• Suitable for industrial automation networks requiring 10G Ethernet
• Ideal for outdoor run between cabinets and enclosures
• Used with shielded RJ45 terminations in harsh environments
• Can be used for video, voice and data services over IP

What conductor type and configuration does it use?

It uses tinned, stranded copper conductors in a four‑pair, eight‑wire formation with PE insulation.

How is pair and overall screening achieved?

Each pair is wrapped in overlapping metal foil and the cable has an overall tinned copper wire braid.

What temperature range can it withstand during operation?

The cable is rated to operate between -20°C and +80°C for both fixed and flexible conditions.

What electrical limits apply at 20°C?

Characteristic impedance is 100±5Ω with conductor resistance up to 290Ω/km and insulation resistance minimum 500MΩ·km.

How is the cable packaged and colour identified?

It is supplied on reels or rings (including 100m option) with a black outer PVC sheath (RAL 9005).
