    Straight / 90° Elbow Assembly

High quality flexible hydraulic hose assemblies with crimped end fittings. Each assembly features one piece end fittings (which eliminates an incorrectly matched insert and sleeve) and matching hoses which are assembled together using dedicated crimping machinery and dies. The crimp is affected by the bite of the serrations in the sleeve on to the hose reinforcement. The reinforcing braid is protected by the external rubber cover, which makes the fitting and hose assembly leak tight. This feature guarantees corrosion protection of the reinforcement and so prolongs the life of the assembly. For further confidence every assembly is proof pressure tested to twice working pressure. Applications include medium pressure service with petroleum base hydraulic fluids, mineral oils, lubricating oils, water glycol, water-oil emulsion hydraulic fluids, hot oil, grease, crude and fuel oils, air and water. Hoses are synthetic rubber tube with synthetic rubber outer covering and high tensile steel wire reinforcing. Fittings are zinc plated mild steel. Manufacturer’s hose type is Parker Type 301 No Skive Hose, with a BSP Straight Swivel Female Each End. Temperature range is -40 to +100°C. All finished assemblies proof pressure tested to twice maximum working pressure. Temperature range -40 to +100°C.

    Note

These assemblies are not suitable for use with our range of high pressure hydraulic cylinders and pumps which have working pressures to 700 bar. They are outside the terms of our BS 5750 Part 2 stockist of assessed capability level B registration. Pin prick cover for air or gas applications above 17 bar (250 psi).
