Fluke Multimeter, True RMS Function, 400h Battery Life - FLUKE-115C

This multimeter is a handheld True RMS digital instrument designed for technicians in automation, electronics, electrical and mechanical trades to measure voltage, current, resistance and more in industrial and field environments. It operates from a battery power source and provides a range of diagnostics including frequency and capacitance measurements for troubleshooting AC and DC circuits.

Features & Benefits

• True RMS measurement for accurate AC readings up to 1kHz
• DC voltage accuracy to ±0.5% rdg+2 for precision readings
• AC/DC current ranges with 1.5% and 1.0% accuracies respectively
• Resistance, continuity and diode functions for circuit verification
• Capacitance testing to 9999μF with specified accuracy bands
• Long battery life of 400 h for extended field use

Applications

• Suitable for commissioning and fault finding on control panels
• Ideal for verifying motor drives and inverters in automation systems
• Used for PCB and component testing in electronics workshops
• Can be used for onsite electrical maintenance and inspection
• Suitable for measuring frequency on power and signal lines

What input protection is provided for the current function?

The instrument includes a fused A input rated at 11 A, 1000V with high interruption rating for the current path used in high-current measurements.

How does the display present changing signals?

The digital display offers 6000 counts and a 33‑segment bargraph that updates rapidly to show transient behaviour and steadier readings.

What environmental conditions can it tolerate during operation?

It is specified to operate between −10 °C and +50 °C with defined humidity limits and an altitude rating to 2000 m.

What frequency measurement capabilities are available?

Frequency can be measured from low tens of hertz up to 50 kHz on voltage inputs with stated sensitivity variations across ranges.

What safety categorisation applies to live measurements?

The instrument is rated to measure up to 600V between any Terminal and earth and complies with the IEC CAT III 600V environment.

Note

For Calibrated Articles - Please note that accuracy is specified for 1 year after calibration, at operating temperatures of 18 °C to 28 °C, with relative humidity at 0 % to 95 %.
