This 1000 W fixed installation DC to AC power inverter from the RS PRO range is an electrical device that can be fitted to car batteries and used to charge a wide range of appliances.

Car batteries and small-scale power generators often produce direct current (DC), which is incompatible with most gadgets. If you’re looking to power a laptop, a curling iron or a toaster from a car or mobile home, you’ll need a DC to AC power inverter to do so.

This inverter generates pure sine wave – a smoothly alternating current that’s best suited for delicate electronics like laptops and stereos.
