The LiFEPO4 batteries are originated from lithium-ion technology and are a much safer battery than technologies used with LiCoO2 and manganese. LFP LiFePO4 Batteries are amongst some of the safest batteries available. The batteries do not overheat, if damaged they will not burst into flames. These batteries will not damage your health or the environment.

As with all batteries take care when storing your batteries. Keep them in safe dry environments, away from other metallic and sharp objects and in their original packaging until ready to use.

As with all batteries you need to take care and dispose of batteries carefully, DO NOT throw batteries away with your standard rubbish. Batteries can be disposed of in re-cycling disposal areas and collection sites for household hazardous waste or of you are dealing with very large quantities of batteries you can contact specialist re-cycling centres.
