ABB E215 Series Circuit Trip, 16A Current Rating, 250V AC Control Voltage - 2CCA703152R0001 E215-16-11D

This circuit trip provides a Compact manual tripping Interface for electrical distribution and control systems. Designed for rail mounting, it allows remote or local actuation within low-voltage installations and integrates with modular distribution equipment to interrupt circuits when required.

Features and Benefits:

• Contact arrangement 1NO1NC enabling changeover operation • Rated switching current 16A suitable for small distribution circuits • Control Coil operates at 250V AC for standard control supplies • DIN rail mounting for quick panel integration • Push-button actuated sub-type for straightforward manual operation

Applications

• Used with System Pro M Compact panels for modular distribution tasks • Suitable for SMISSLINE socket system installations requiring trip control • Used in distribution boards to provide manual circuit interruption • Suitable for sub-distribution boards where local tripping is needed

How does it connect within a modular distribution assembly?

It clips onto a standard DIN rail and interfaces electrically via its dedicated contact terminals designed for modular switchgear.

What contact functionality can I expect during operation?

The device provides a single normally open contact and a single normally closed contact to enable changeover switching schemes.

Which control supply should be provided for reliable actuation?

A control supply of 250V AC is required to operate the trip mechanism correctly.

Can it handle typical panel feeder currents?

It is rated for 16A switching, making it suitable for lower-current feeder or control circuits within distribution equipment.

With which distribution ranges is it compatible?

It is intended for integration with Compact System Pro M equipment and related sub-distribution and socket-system assemblies.

Note

These contacts can not be used with type ESB20 installation contactors, only higher types e.g. ESB24
