The Dormer Tapping is designed for manual tapping using electric tools, and it addresses a common challenge in tapping, especially for blind holes. When tapping, long, stringy chips are often produced, and if not properly evacuated, they can cause serious issues. The helical flute design helps to move the chips away from the hole during tapping, preventing this problem.
