The Digilent Development board is built around the AMD Zynq-7000 SoC family. It integrates the software programmability of a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with the hardware flexibility of FPGA logic, enabling heterogeneous computing. Designed with Arduino headers and multiple Pmod ports, it offers adaptability for a wide range of applications. With HDMI input/output, audio support, and expansion connectors, the Arty Z7 is particularly suited for multimedia projects, robotics, and real-time embedded systems. It is supported by AMD Vivado Design Suite (including the free WebPACK edition) and SDSoC for embedded C/C++/OpenCL development.
