The Microchip microcontroller features a high-performance, low-power AVR CPU running at up to 20 MHz, with single-cycle I/O access, a two-level vectored interrupt controller, and a two-cycle hardware multiplier. It supports a wide supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V and includes advanced features such as an Event System, digital peripherals, and a 12-bit differential ADC with a Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA). The device offers 16 KB of self-programmable Flash, 2 KB SRAM, 256B EEPROM, and 32B of user row nonvolatile memory that retains data during chip erase and is programmable while locked. With write/erase endurance of 10,000 cycles for Flash and 100,000 for EEPROM, and 40-year data retention at 55 °C, it is ideal for flexible and power-efficient embedded applications.
