MOXA Ethernet Module, 36V Maximum Supply Voltage, 60°C Maximum Operating Temperature - ioLogik E1260

This Ethernet module is an industrial RTD input device designed to acquire temperature signals and communicate them over Ethernet for automation and monitoring systems. It mounts on DIN rail or a wall and operates in demanding electrical environments, providing networked input capability where temperature sensing and remote data access are required.

Features and Benefits:

• Six RTD channels allow multiple temperature sensors monitoring
• Supports operation up to +60°C for high-temperature sites
• Accepts up to 36V supply for flexible power arrangements
• Complies with ATEX and Class I Division 2 for hazardous areas
• Meets IEC, FCC and UL standards for electromagnetic robustness

Applications

• Suitable for process temperature monitoring in hazardous zones
• Ideal for plant-floor data acquisition from RTD sensors
• Used for remote environmental sensing in control rooms
• Can be used for integrating thermal inputs into SCADA systems

How is the module mounted in control cabinets?

It can be attached directly to DIN rail or fixed to a wall to suit enclosure layouts and space constraints.

What kinds of protection does it provide against electrical disturbances?

It conforms to multiple IEC immunity standards covering surge, EFT, radiated immunity and electrostatic discharge to maintain signal integrity.

How compact is the unit for tight panel installations?

The enclosure is narrow with a width of 27.8mm, enabling high-density installation in confined spaces.

Which approvals indicate suitability for telecommunications and emissions limits?

It is certified to relevant FCC and CISPR/EN emission standards and tested under Telcordia SR332 for environmental stress.
