Clifford & Snell Electronic Sounder, 120dB, 24V DC - YA80 Super Series - YA80/D/RF/SU/WR

Clifford & Snell's electronic sounder delivers an audible alert that's effective in a range of marine and industrial environments. It provides a 120-decibel alarm that warns of emergencies and machine malfunctions. The 5-way DIL (dual in-line) switches between 32 possible tones, so you can choose a sound that workers will recognise. It comes housed in a bright orange thermoplastic housing, so it's easy to find. This means you can quickly turn off the alarm when the situation is all clear.

Features & Benefits

• Flame-retardant housing means it won't burn in a fire

• A maximum operating temperature of +70°C and minimum operating temperature of -35°C means it's suitable for harsh environments

• Mounts easily with screws onto any flat surface

Applications

• Port and harbour operations

• Industrial manufacturing

• Warehouses and loading bays

Is this unit energy efficient?

This electronic sounder operates via a direct current (DC) rather than an alternating current (AC). An advantage of direct current is that it offers substantial efficiency and is compatible with renewable sources, such as wind and solar power, so you have more ways to conserve energy.
