Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Regulation Range, 40μm Filtration Size - MS4-LFR-AGC-D7-E-R-M-VS, Numeric Part Number: 8232867

This filter regulator conditions compressed Air and maintains a stable downstream pressure for pneumatic systems. It is designed for vertical mounting with a rotary knob actuator and provides secondary exhausting Plus return-flow capability. Suitable for compressed Air and inert gases, it complies with ISO 8573-1:2010 Air quality classes and is intended for moderate corrosion environments.

Features and Benefits:

• 0.5 to 12bar regulation range provides adjustable downstream pressure control
• 1500L/min flow capacity supports high-flow pneumatic processes
• 40μm filtration grade removes fine particulates and condensate
• Manual rotating drain enables simple condensate removal
• Polycarbonate bowl with plastic guard offers clear Visual monitoring

Applications

• Used with assembly-line pneumatic actuators requiring steady pressure
• Suitable for shop‑floor compressed Air distribution sub‑stations
• Ideal for feeding tools needing particulate‑free Air supply
• Can be used for inert gas supply in test rigs
• Used for food‑industry auxiliary systems per supplementary material

What are the suitable operating and media temperature limits?

It operates with media and ambient temperatures from -10°C to 60°C.

What pressure and flow conditions can it withstand?

The unit accepts up to 14bar maximum operating pressure and standardised flow of 1500L/min.

Which materials are used for the main wetted components?

The housing and sub‑base are die‑cast aluminium, the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate and Seals are NBR.

What mounting and connection details should be noted?

Mount vertically within ±5° and connect using G 3/8 pneumatic ports

the pressure gauge port is G 3/8.

How effective is condensate separation and what is the condensate capacity?

Condensate separation exceeds 75% and the bowl collects up to 19ml.
