Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Regulation Range, 40μm Filtration Size - MS4-LFR-AGC-D7-E-R-V, Numeric Part Number: 8232868

This filter regulator combines Air filtration and pressure control for compressed-Air installations. It conditions supply Air by separating condensate and removing particles down to 40μm while maintaining a stable downstream pressure between 0.5 bar and 12 bar. The unit is suitable for use with compressed Air and inert gases and is designed for vertical mounting with a Compact footprint and visible analogue pressure indication.

Features and Benefits:

• 1500 L/min standard flow rate enables consistent supply capacity
• 40μm filtration protects downstream components from particulates
• Manual condensate drain allows controlled fluid removal
• Polycarbonate bowl offers transparent Visual monitoring
• Pressure gauge port G3/8 supports direct instrument attachment

Applications

• Suitable for pneumatic tool Air supply conditioning
• Ideal for plant lines requiring condensate separation
• Used with inert gas distribution and process control
• Can be used for workshop compressed-Air point-of-use units
• Suitable for systems needing pressure monitoring via gauge

What operating temperature range can the unit withstand?

The unit is rated for operation and storage between -10°C and 60°C.

What materials contact the airflow and seals?

The housing and sub-base are die-cast aluminium, the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate, and Seals and membrane are NBR.

How does the regulator manage return flow and exhausting?

It includes secondary exhausting and a return flow function to maintain stable output pressure under varying inlet conditions.

What is the maximum operating pressure specified?

The maximum operating pressure is 12 bar.
