The laser diode driver designed for continuous wave operation with laser currents of up to 300 mA. It has a wide power supply range of 2.4-15V and features a rapid soft start after power-on within 70 μs. The IC-WKN is optimised for N-type laser diodes and offers simple output power adjustment via an external resistor. It has a power control loop accuracy better than 1.5% with changes in temperature, supply voltage, and load current.
