Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.30 to 7 bar Pressure Regulation Range, G3/8in Port Size - MS4-LFR-AGC-D6-E-R-M-MPA, Numeric Part Number: 8232861

This filter regulator provides pressure conditioning and particulate removal for compressed Air and inert gases in industrial pneumatic systems. It maintains a stable downstream pressure while separating condensate and solids to protect downstream equipment. The unit is intended for vertical mounting and is compatible with Air quality standards for compressed Air treatment.

Features and Benefits:

• 1700 L/min flow rate for high-volume supply
• 40 μm filtration delivers effective particulate removal
• 0.3 to 7 bar regulation range for versatile pressure control
• Manual condensate drain enables simple maintenance
• 14 bar maximum operating pressure supports robust systems

Applications

• Suitable for pneumatic tooling and actuator supply
• Used with inert gas lines requiring pressure control
• Ideal for workshop compressed Air distribution panels
• Can be used for automation equipment Air treatment
• Used for processes needing secondary exhausting function

What materials are used for the bowl and seals?

The bowl is polycarbonate (Makrolon®) and the Seals and membrane are NBR.

How should the unit be oriented during installation?

It must be mounted vertically within ±5° to ensure correct condensate separation and operation.

What ports are provided for gauge and pneumatic connections?

Pneumatic connections for ports 1 and 2 use G3/8 thread and the pressure gauge port is 3/8in with G thread standard.

What temperatures can the unit withstand in service and storage?

The device is rated for ambient and media temperatures from -10 °C to 60 °C for both operation and storage.
