Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Regulation Range, 40μm Filtration Size - MS6-LFR-AGF-D7-E-R-M-MPA, Numeric Part Number: 8232923

This filter regulator conditions compressed Air by removing condensate and stabilising downstream pressure for pneumatic systems. It is designed for inline or front-panel installation and accepts compressed Air to ISO 8573-1:2010 standards as the operating medium. The unit features a pressure gauge connection with G-thread ports and a manually operated condensate drain, suitable for general industrial environments with moderate corrosion stress.

Features and Benefits:

• 4500 L/min flow capacity enabling high-volume Air supply
• 0.5 to 12 bar regulation range delivering precise downstream control
• 20 bar maximum operating pressure supporting robust systems
• 40 μm polycarbonate bowl ensuring visible filtration monitoring
• Manual rotating drain allowing simple condensate removal

Applications

• Suitable for pneumatic tool supply requiring stable pressure
• Used with inert gases in control-cabinet feed lines
• Ideal for compressed-Air preparation in assembly stations
• Can be used for instrument Air supply in moderate corrosion settings

What materials are used for wetted components?

The bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate, Seals are NBR, and the sub-base and housing are die-cast aluminium.

How should the unit be mounted for correct operation?

It may be mounted vertically within ±5° or installed inline using appropriate G1 connections.

What temperature range can it operate within?

It supports media, ambient and storage temperatures between -10°C and 60°C.

How is pressure indicated and adjusted?

Pressure is shown on an analogue gauge and adjusted using a rotary knob with detent and secondary exhaust.

What filtration and condensate performance can be expected?

The element provides <40 μm pore size with >75% condensate separation and a maximum condensate volume of 38 ml.
